Brick and Masonry Issues with Front Entries and Patios

No part of the house gets more attention than your home entry and your patio.

Friends and neighbors and shipping company personnel, the mail person maybe; come to your front door on a regular basis. Don’t we want to make sure the appearance of your front entry is putting your best food forward?

Let’s look at some front entry issues and then we will look at patios

Crack over the front door will get lots of attention. Cracks propagate getting worse. as they wait for repair.

Cracked mortar has been ground out and repaired with matching mortar.

Gorgeous house has a spectacular entry walkway. Unfortunately, bricks and mortar have failed and distract from the appearance of the entry.

Spalling brick has exfoliated and mortar is cracked and porous.
