Brick Doctor Awarded 2009 Fort Worth BBB Integrity Award

Brick Doctor Wins 2009 Fort Worth BBB Integrity Award

October 2, 2009

Fort Worth, TX. The Better Business Bureau at Fort Worth announced Thursday the winner of its 2009 Integrity Award is Brick Doctor Corp., based in Haltom City, TX.

This annual award is given to one business in the eight-county area served by the Fort Worth BBB that consistently exemplifies the BBB’s mission of promoting ethics through excellence in customer satisfaction, employee training, high industry standards, and community involvement.  Competing with more than 200 local businesses, Brick Doctor was presented the award at the Bureau’s Annual Awards Dinner on September 24th at Ridglea Country Club in Fort Worth.

Brick Doctor President, James Jennings, expressed surprise in learning of the award, “Brick Doctor is a small and relatively obscure company, so to get that call was quite a shock.  Our team works hard to consistently put our customer’s needs above our own, and to promote the highest ethical conduct both on and off the job in our community….but seriously, we’re just brick repair people!  It’s very encouraging but humbling to be recognized in this way, especially knowing there must be numerous other companies who are more significant and deserving of the honor.

“We are grateful to the BBB for all they do to encourage and promote ethical conduct in our marketplace.  They are a good friend and advocate for both consumers and responsible businesses who need each other.  They make our community better.”  Brick Doctor’s involvement in both Dallas and Fort Worth chapters of the BBB has been valuable since they do work across the entire metroplex, and the company has maintained an excellent rating history for over 20 years at each.

Jennings praised his co-workers, who accepted the award on behalf of the company.  “We received this award because [the employees] constantly go the second mile…every day…with every customer.  They serve quietly and joyfully, without seeking attention for themselves.  We’re so blessed with people who combine excellent talent, a servant’s attitude, and above all, integrity.  Their heart for others shows when we have community service projects and almost 100% show up to volunteer.”

The company also publicly acknowledged at the Awards Banquet their unique philosophy that “God owns Brick Doctor, and we are simply managing what He has entrusted to us.  We often fall short as we are human, but if ever you see anything good in us, it is God who deserves the credit, for He has given us hope, and a purpose for doing what we do so well.  It is to Him we are most grateful.”
